Nearly 500,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Hawaii, according to data from the state Department of Health.
As of Wednesday, the state had ordered 658,900 doses, received 629,000 and administered 494,257.
Statewide, 21.1% of people have received at least one dose of the vaccine. On the Big Island, 20.9% of residents have received at least one shot, and 11.3% have received both shots.
Vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna require two doses administered weeks apart, but a vaccine from Johnson &Johnson only requires one dose.
The DOH on Wednesday reported 69 new coronavirus cases statewide. Four new cases were reported on Hawaii Island, bringing the total number reported on the Big Island to 2,347.
According to data from the DOH, 18 cases were reported in Hilo during the prior 14 days. Another 18 were reported around Keaau, and 29 cases were reported in Kailua-Kona.
An additional 38 cases were reported on Oahu, 23 on Maui, one on Lanai and three residents were diagnosed outside the state.
